How does a venue schedule work and why are some time slots unavailable?
A venue schedule defines when a venue is open for games: for each weekday the venue owner sets opening and closing hours and a slot step (e.g. 60 minutes), and game creators then pick times from this grid.
A time slot shows as unavailable when it overlaps an existing Playbox game at that venue, a pending or confirmed booking, or a busy period synced from the venue’s external calendar. Venues can connect Google Calendar or an iCal link so outside bookings block Playbox slots automatically.
If a weekday is closed in the schedule, no slots are offered that day, and past times are never shown. A venue can also limit how far in advance games can be placed (a booking horizon), and dates beyond that limit show no slots. If you own the venue you set all of this yourself in Manage venue: the opening hours for the whole week, the external calendar connection, and the booking horizon.
