How do organizers handle booking time at municipal or busy venues?

Playbox doesn’t reserve venue slots for you, you arrange the time directly with the venue, then mark it with the “I’ve booked the venue” option in the game builder. For municipal fields and fully-booked arenas, organizers usually: negotiate a recurring weekly slot (then use Event Automations to auto-create those games), agree a fixed or discounted price for regular bookings, or split the field cost across players via “per team” pricing plus Early Bird to fill games faster. If a venue isn’t in Playbox yet, add it at the venue-selection step or via the city venue map. Playbox covers logistics, registrations, payments and results, not the physical reservation.

You can create the game before the venue is confirmed. The booking status is a separate mark in the game builder, so nothing stops you from setting the game up first and confirming the pitch afterwards.
