How do I onboard as a venue owner?

You submit a venue owner request directly from the app, and it is saved with your contacts so the team can reach you. You can also pick “venue owner” as your role when choosing your intent on sign-up.

This is the path if you run a pitch or facility and want it represented on Playbox, rather than just adding a field for a single game. The form asks for a phone number and a link to your venue, and both travel with the request, so the team has a way to call you back. The link has to be a real web address rather than a messenger username, and its capitalisation is preserved, so short Google Maps links such as https://maps.app.goo.gl/AbCdEf arrive unbroken. You can skip the step for now and send the details later, and submitting again updates your request instead of creating a second one. If you picked the venue owner role by mistake, use the back arrow or the “Choose another role” button on that screen to return to the role choice.

Sending the request does not gate anything: the venue owner tools are open to you straight away. The team reviews the request separately, to confirm the venue and your connection to it.

Your venue shows up in your profile under My venues and you get the Manage venue screen: opening hours, external calendar, booking settings, the day view, the bookings list and analytics. See “What can I do as a venue owner?”.

In the meantime anyone can still add a venue at the venue-selection step when creating a game or via the city venue map. If your request is taking a while or you have questions, contact support.
