How do I set a late-cancellation policy (penalty) for my game?

Settings, “Organizer tools”, “Cancellation policy”: turn on “Cancellation Fee” and set up to 3 tiers, each “Hours before” (1 to 24) and “Fee” (1 to 100% of the slot price), the tier closer to kickoff costing more, for example 100% under 3 hours and 50% under 5 hours. One policy covers all your pickup games.

It starts with one tier, 50% under 3 hours; tap “Add tier” for more. Changes save on their own.

It applies to games already created too; there is no per-game setting. Leagues, team drafts and challenges are not covered.

Softeners on by default:

• Leaving within 30 minutes of joining is free.

• “Warning on the first time”: a player’s first late cancellation is forgiven with a warning, and a player who never finished a game with you is not fined.

You can cancel any fine: your profile in “Game Creator” mode, “Restrictions”, “Fees”, or the game’s “Fees” tab. A paid fine goes back to the player.

A fine is never below $1 and never above the slot price. The percentage is counted on what the spot actually cost after any promo code, Early Bird or partner discount.
