Can I announce a game in advance, and will players be reminded?

Yes. Create the game as early as you like: it opens for sign-ups straight away, and you can also set a publish time so the announcement appears in your linked Telegram chats later, at the moment you choose, without you being online.

• The announcement and every join or leave update post to your community chat automatically once the Playbox bot is added to it and the chat is selected for the game.

• Reminders are automatic: about 2 hours before kickoff Playbox reminds the signed-up players, you as the organizer, and the Telegram chat where the game was announced. There is no button to send a reminder by hand; write in the game chat or your group if you need to.

• If you run the same game every week, set it up in Settings, Organizer tools, Recurring events. Each game is then created 2 days ahead by default and goes up at 12:00; you can change both.

A workable pattern for a first game with a new group: publish two or three days before kickoff, which is when most sign-ups actually happen anyway.
