Who can watch my stream: Public, Unlisted or Private?
A new Playbox stream is Public, and you can change it any time, before, during or after the game: open Stream settings, tap the stream row, then Visibility, pick an option and tap Save. The options use YouTube’s own wording:
-
Public: everyone can watch your video. It is on the channel and in YouTube search.
-
Unlisted: anyone with the video link can watch your video. It is not in search or on the channel, but it is not hidden: the link opens for anyone you or your players share it with, and the video stays on YouTube after the game. Playbox does not delete it.
-
Private on your own channel: only you and people you choose (invited in YouTube Studio) can watch your video.
-
Private on the Playbox channel: only Playbox can watch the video, so players can’t open it.
A private stream has no goal clips or highlights, no “Watch on YouTube” button in Telegram, and it doesn’t show in “Playing now”. In the lobby its card shows a lock instead of the cover.
