How do I change how my stream overlay looks?
Open Settings, âOrganizer toolsâ, âOverlayâ, or tap âOverlay settingsâ in a gameâs Stream settings. The page starts with a live preview of your overlay on a pitch, which changes as soon as you pick something, so you see the result before going live. Under it is the âTest linkâ: paste it into OBS to see your overlay on a sample match where goals, cards and substitutions play by themselves.
Everything is chosen by picture. âBroadcast styleâ is Classic, Esports, Broadcast or Retro, and âScoreboardâ is Centered or Corner. âSquad barâ and âSquad positionâ control the team line-ups (see âHow do I show the team squads on my stream overlay?â). Under âDuring the matchâ, âGoal Animationâ shows the scorerâs card on a goal, and âEvent Highlightsâ shows highlight authors in the top-right corner.
Under âBetween gamesâ, the âBetween-game screenâ switch (squads, schedule and table when no game is on) turns that screen off. While it is on, three checkboxes choose when it shows: âBefore kick-offâ, âBetween games and half-timeâ and âAfter the eventâ. For example, keep âBefore kick-offâ ticked and untick âBetween games and half-timeâ to show squads before the game and nothing at half-time. Where it is off, the overlay shows nothing, so viewers see only the camera picture. All of them are on until you change them.
Changes save automatically. The settings belong to your account, so they apply to every game you stream with your overlay link. The same switches are in the âOverlayâ panel of the Playbox Stream app while you stream.
