When do players pay, and when do I (the organizer) get my money?

Yes, online payments for your games are withdrawable, but only after the game: the morning after it finishes (daily run at about 10:00 your local time) they are credited to your wallet as “Online payments reimbursement”, minus the commission. Then Wallet, “Available for pay out”, “Pay out”, from $5 to $1000 per payout. Nothing is available before the game is played.

So prepayments can’t fund a pitch you pay for upfront: plan the pitch money yourself.

Online means card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the Playbox wallet. The payout itself then takes its own time (see “How long does a withdrawal take?”).

Cash players pay you directly; mark them in the game’s “Manage”, “Payments”.
