What happens when I mark a player as Not paid?

Marking a player “Not paid” only records the debt for you: he appears in your own profile (“Game Creator” mode), “Restrictions”, “Debtors” with the amount, and nothing is sent to him. Playbox does not collect cash, so that money stays between you and the player. In the game’s own “Payments” screen he is listed under “Not paid”.

The mark never expires: the player stays in “Debtors” until you set them to “Paid”.

The player gets no new notification, is not blocked from joining your games or anyone else’s, and no spots are held for them. The post-game reminder to settle up is sent to every cash player when the game finishes, whatever you mark.

To enforce payment, open the player’s profile, tap “Ban or restrict” and choose “Online payment only” (cash is then disabled for them in your games) or “Full ban”. The only debt that blocks joining automatically is an unpaid late-cancellation fee.
