How much does Playbox cost?
Playbox takes 7% of the price per player, at least $0.30 per player, only for players in a game that actually happened, and it is deducted from your Playbox wallet after the game finishes (daily run at about 10:00 your local time), never upfront. Your exact cut before publishing: Checkout step of the game form, “See breakdown”, “Price breakdown” with “Venue rent”, “Playbox fee” and “Left for game creator”.
On a cheap game the minimum applies: at $3, 7% is $0.21, so you pay $0.30. At $10 you pay $0.70 per player.
Example: 18 players at 20 GEL = 360 GEL. 7% of 20 GEL is 1.40 GEL (above the minimum), so the fee is 25.20 GEL. With a 150 GEL pitch, about 185 GEL is left for you.
Cash players count too.
Leagues: $2 per match played, whatever the format or ticket price.
Commission is charged only for completed games; a cancelled game, by you or automatically, costs nothing.
It counts every player who was in the game, whatever they paid with: card, wallet or cash. Empty slots are never charged.
It is taken from your Playbox wallet after the game. Online payments for that game land in the same wallet first, so usually they cover it. If your players paid cash, the wallet can go below zero: top it up. Free games are charged $0.30 per player who played.
A negative balance does not stop you from creating games by hand, but your automation (autopilot) schedules stop publishing new games until you top up.
Having an account costs nothing, and Playbox Pro is a separate optional subscription that changes none of this.
