How do I set my game's price, and what will my cut be?

Type the price per player into the price field on the Checkout step, and the fee line above the Publish button shows Playbox’s cut as you type. It reads like “Fee: $0.70 per player (≈ $8.40) · From your Playbox wallet, only if the game happens” and adds a “minimum applies” tag when the $0.30 minimum is larger than 7%. A free game is charged the minimum, $0.30 per player who played, and the fee line shows it the same way.

Tap See breakdown for the Price breakdown: players, price per player, total revenue, Venue rent (the venue’s hourly price times the duration, reduced for Half or Quarter), the Playbox fee (7% per player, minimum $0.30), your Early Bird discount if set, and the estimate Left for game creator. Find out more about pricing opens How Playbox pricing works. If a player joins with a promo code, the 7% (minimum $0.30) fee is counted on the price after the promo, and an organizer’s own promo code is funded by you, so it lowers your income for that spot.

Example: pitch $80 for the hour, 12 players at $10 = $120 collected, minus $80 rent and $8.40 fee, so about $31.60 is left for you. Set the price so the game still covers the pitch if it is only partly filled. The fee is charged only after the game is completed; a cancelled game costs nothing.
