What does the form arrow next to a player mean?
The colored arrow next to a player is their current form, how well they have been playing recently in this game format. There are 5 form levels: Bad, Poor, Stable, Good, Excellent. Form is calculated from the player’s most recent matches (up to their last 5 events within the past 45 days): wins push the arrow up, losses pull it down, and beating stronger opponents counts more than beating weaker ones.
Form is separate for each format (e.g. 5x5 and 8x8) and does not change the player’s PBX rating, it is extra context shown next to it. You will see the form arrow on the player profile stats, the leaderboard, match lineups, the versus screen, the mini-profile, and next to each player in a team page’s Squad tab (form there follows the selected game format).
Tap any form arrow to open a short explanation of what each level means. Form is also taken into account by automatic team balancing when teams are distributed.
Not to be confused with the small triangle with a number (or grey dash) next to a place on a leaderboard: that is the place change since a week ago, not form (see “What does the green or red triangle next to my place on the leaderboard mean?”).
