How to merge App and Telegram accounts?

You merge them yourself by linking Telegram and confirming it in the Playbox bot, during sign-up or later.

During sign-up in a browser or the app, the nickname step shows “Already played or signed up via Telegram?”. Tap “Link Telegram profile”, tap Start and then Confirm in the bot, and come back. The bot shows which account is asking, email partly hidden, so tap Cancel if it was not you. A taken nickname is usually your own from Telegram: link instead of picking another.

What happens next:

• No Playbox profile on that Telegram: it is linked and you finish sign-up.

• You already played via Telegram: the accounts become one, the profile with games stays, and your email moves onto it.

• That Telegram profile has its own email: nothing merges, sign in with that email.

• Both accounts have games: nothing merges, we contact you to merge them.

• Cancelled or expired link: nothing changes, try again.

Later: Settings → Connected Apps → Connect Telegram, same confirmation. Inside the Mini App the nickname step offers “I already have a profile” instead.
