How do I manage my Telegram communities and what gets posted there?
After you add the Playbox bot to your Telegram channel or group as an admin, it shows up under Settings, “Organizer tools”, “External communities”. Each card shows whether it is a group or a channel, your role and the member count; tap it to open its settings.
Game posts go only for games where you ticked this chat: in the game form tap the “Where to publish” button (your community avatar next to the main button) and tick the chat under “External communities”. Those games get the announcement, join and leave updates, reminders and payment reminders. Marketing posts (Playbox promos) are opt-in per chat.
Game posts list players by nickname linking to their Playbox profile; player photos are not shown and there is no setting for them.
Groups also have “Entry check”: the bot screens every newcomer in a private chat before they can post, against spam. It works in groups only, not channels, and the bot must be an admin with the right to restrict members.
To link a new chat use “Add the bot to a group or channel” at the bottom of the screen, or “Connect an external community” in “Where to publish”. If you remove the bot, the chat drops off the list.
