How do I choose my role when I sign up?
During sign-up Playbox asks what brings you in, and your answer opens a short ladder of follow-up questions rather than a single choice. The first step is what you want to do: play, organize games, do both, captain a team, or run a venue.
If you organize, the ladder continues. First we ask what you organize, one-off games or a league or tournament, because those are different jobs: one is about filling a game, the other about a season, rounds and a table. If you organize games, we then ask who you already have: your own community, a few friends, or nobody yet. If you have your own community, the last step asks where it lives now: Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, or another app you can name yourself.
The main button stays dimmed until you have answered the last question shown to you, so a half filled ladder cannot be submitted by accident. Next to it there is always a “Skip for now” button. Skipping means “stop asking”, not “forget what I picked”: whatever you have already chosen is saved, and if you picked nothing at all, nothing is written to your profile.
None of it locks your account. You still have one account with both Player and Creator views, and your answers only decide which tools and offers we put in front of you first. You can change direction at any time, and the back arrow returns you to the previous step of sign-up.
