Why was my goal, assist, card or penalty kick rejected?
Playbox checks every highlight against the match roster, so it rejects a goal, assist, card or penalty kick when that player could not have done it at that minute. The message names the player and the minute, for example “a6 was not on the pitch at 02:00.”
What is checked
-
Goal: the scorer must be on the pitch for the scoring team at that minute.
-
Own goal: the scorer must be on the pitch for the other team at that minute. An own goal has no assist.
-
Assist: the assistant must be on the pitch for the same team and can’t be the scorer.
-
Card: the player must be in that team’s roster for the match. A bench player can get a card.
-
Penalty shootout kick: only after the shootout has started, and only by a player who was on the pitch at the final whistle.
The same checks apply live, after the final whistle, and to “Report Result Issue” requests after results are confirmed. During a live match a rejection only shows a message: the match clock keeps running. Goals and cards can also be entered before kickoff, with the same roster checks.
In the highlight form, changing the minute or the team clears any player who doesn’t fit the new choice, so pick them again. When you edit a card you can’t move it to the other team: delete it and add a new one.
