Why can't I start a playoff match?

The Start button stays inactive until both teams of that playoff slot are known. A semi-final or final that waits for earlier rounds has no teams yet, so it can’t be started.

What to do:

• Finish and record the earlier matches. The winners move into the next slot, and Start becomes active.

• If a team is missing for another reason, for example a team withdrew, set the teams in the bracket first (see “How do I edit the tournament bracket?”).

The server rejects a start without both teams too, so refreshing the page won’t help until the slot is filled.
