How do I set up teams in the lobby and change them during the game?

To move (transfer) a player from one team to the other in a game, use “Distribute Rosters” in the lobby before kickoff, or a substitution in the match room during the game and after it until results are confirmed.

In the lobby, before kickoff, use “Distribute Rosters” (“Balance” or “Shuffle”) to split registered players into sides; you can redistribute and move players freely until the match starts.

During the match, open the ”…” menu of the match panel, turn on “Roster editing”, then tap “Add player” in the team and pick the player, with “This match only” or “Until the event ends”. Recorded goals stay with their scorers and you don’t reset anything. Only drag-and-drop is limited to one team (pitch and bench); for another team use “Add player”. After results are confirmed the roster locks and only “Report Result Issue” is left.

The organizer and a “Manager” can do both. A “Results tracker” can make substitutions and add players in the match room, but “Distribute Rosters” in the lobby is for the organizer or a Manager. If your phone is busy running the stream, hand a second device to a Manager. A player can’t be in two teams at once. Removing a player from a permanent team (Teams section) is a different thing and is done by the captain.
