Why did my game automation turn off by itself?
Playbox deletes a recurring schedule (autopilot) by itself after two of its games in a row were cancelled automatically with fewer than 4 players. It is removed, not paused: there is no “Turned off” list and no switch to turn it back on. You get a notification “Repeating game removed” with the reason, and you can create a new schedule any time in Settings, Organizer tools, Recurring events, Create recurring event.
If autopilot did not create this week’s game, check these causes:
-
The schedule is gone from Recurring events: it was deleted after two near-empty games in a row (see above).
-
Your wallet balance is negative: the schedule skips creating games and notifies you that the game could not be published. Top up to zero or more and it creates the missing games within its advance window.
-
Another of your schedules covers the same venue, time and day: only one of them creates the game, and the other shows “Not creating games: … covers the same slot”. Delete or change the duplicate.
-
The venue slot was taken: another game already held that time at the venue, so that date was skipped and you got “Repeating game not created”. The schedule keeps running for the other dates; pick another time or venue for this one.
-
The game is not due yet: each game is created a set number of days ahead (2 by default) and goes up at the publish time (12:00 by default).
