What rights can I assign within an event?
A game has its organizer plus helpers with one of two roles: “Manager” or “Results tracker”.
To assign: open the game, tap “Manage”, then “Assign roles”. The “Roles” page lists the organizer first, then the helpers. Tap “Add admin”, search the person by username, tap “Add” and pick the role. They need their own Playbox account. Tap ”⋯” next to a helper for “Change role” or “Remove”. A “Manager” can add, change and remove helpers too, not only the organizer. Roles can’t be changed once results are confirmed. In a league it is different: only the league Creator adds league Managers.
-
Organizer: everything, including repeating the game. Owners and admins of the game’s community have the same rights.
-
“Manager”: edits and cancels the game, sets lineups (“Distribute Rosters”) and the schedule, manages players and payments, assigns roles, manages the game chat and attaches the match videos for results. A Manager also runs matches.
-
“Results tracker”: runs matches in the “Match room” (start, goals, cards, substitutions), finishes the game and handles the stream. A Results tracker can’t edit the game, lineups, players, payments or roles, and can’t attach the results video. They can’t take over a match another tracker started, and after results are confirmed they have no controls.
Two phones: you stream on one, and a helper with a role keeps the stats on the other (joining as a player is not enough). Copy the overlay link from the account that records the match (see “Where do I get the Playbox overlay link?”).
