What happens to my game's Telegram announcement after the game?

About 30 minutes after the game’s scheduled end, or as soon as you finish it in the app, its announcement in every Telegram chat, yours and the city chat, shrinks into a short “Game played” note. The note keeps the time, venue, format and number of players, and its only button, PLAY, opens the city’s upcoming games instead of the finished one. That way old posts no longer invite people to sign up for a game that is over.

If the game is cancelled, the announcement is deleted. Telegram lets the bot delete its messages only within 48 hours, so an older post is turned into a “Game cancelled” note instead. This also covers games cancelled automatically, not only by you.

A collapsed note is final: later edits to the game do not change it, and no new announcement is sent for a game that has already finished.
