Was my game cancelled by the organizer or automatically?

Both happen, and Playbox records which one it was. An organizer (or the owner or an admin of the game’s community, or a “Manager” of that game) can cancel a game manually, choosing a reason such as not enough players, a venue problem or bad weather. Playbox also acts on its own when a game is left unfinished: once the game duration has passed since its last activity (the start time or the start or end of the latest match), it closes the game. It is closed as played when there is any sign it took place, and cancelled only when no match was started, there are no confirmed teams or scheduled matches, and fewer than 66% of the slots were taken (slots are the format size times the number of teams, for example 6x6 with 3 teams is 18). Playbox does not cancel a game before kickoff because few players signed up. Challenge-based games are cancelled when the challenge is declined, withdrawn or expires. In every cancellation online payments are refunded to the players’ Playbox Wallet and no commission is charged. Every player in the game is notified: a push in the app, an entry in the notification bell and a Telegram message for players who have Telegram notifications turned on. The chats where the game was announced get the notice too, and the person who cancelled is not notified. If you were charged for a game that did not take place and you do not see the refund, contact support with the game link.
