How do I make my games competitive (ranked) so results affect player ratings?
Any organizer can make a game competitive (ranked): turn on the āCompetitive gameā switch on the Gameplay step when you create or edit a game. There is no authorized host status, application or approval in Playbox: you just host games here with your players, and every organizer feature, this switch included, is open from your first game. You donāt need Team Clash either; the switch works for both Pickup and Team games.
Team Clash is the Team join type, where captains register whole squads. It decides how players sign up, not whether results are ranked.
For ratings to actually move, the results must be confirmed after the match: more than 30 percent of each teamās players tap āConfirm resultsā (a permanent teamās captain confirms for the whole team), or you attach a video to every played match and then tap āSubmit resultsā. Saving the video alone does not confirm; if you never submit, a game with videos is confirmed automatically about two days after it finished. Until then ratings stay unchanged.
