Can I let players off the first time they cancel late?

Yes, and it is on by default. In Settings, “Organizer tools”, “Cancellation policy” there is a switch “Warning on the first time” (“The fee starts from the second late cancellation”). While it is on:

• a player’s first late cancellation with you costs nothing: he gets a warning, and your fee starts from his second one

• a player who has never finished a game with you is not fined at all, so a newcomer’s first booking can’t end in a charge

• leaving within 30 minutes of joining is always free

Turn the switch off and your tiers apply from the very first late cancellation, to everyone.

Players see your fee tiers on the game screen before they join; a forgiven player is told when he leaves. A forgiven cancellation still counts against his show-up rate.

If a fine was charged by accident, you can cancel it: your profile in “Game Creator” mode, “Restrictions”, “Fees”, or the game’s “Fees” tab; a paid fine goes back to the player.
