How is my prediction scored?

Question

Accepted Answer

Each match is scored on the result you predicted, plus a separate bonus for goalscorers. The result levels are cumulative , every level you hit is added together: - Exact final score → +5 - Correct goal difference → +3 - Correct outcome (win, draw or loss) → +1 A perfect scoreline earns all three, 5 + 3 + 1 = 9 points , because an exact score also has the right goal difference and the right outcome. Get the goal difference right but not the exact score and you earn 3 + 1 = 4; get only the winner right and you earn 1; a wrong result scores 0. In knockout matches the "outcome" is the team that advances , including via a penalty shootout.
