How does Explore work for finding players, teams and communities?

Explore is the discovery page for players, teams, communities and leagues around your city. Set your city, and Explore surfaces the people and groups near you; it also has a Leagues section with filters and sign-up deadlines.

Communities appear in Explore only while they are active: the community must have at least one regular game (not a league or demo game) that finished in the last 30 days with 10 or more players in it. The game doesn’t have to be ranked. Explore shows up to 20 communities, your city first. A new community, or one with only small games, is not listed yet even if it is “Public”; share its link instead.

Private communities are listed only to their own participants.

From a result you can open a player’s profile to follow them, check out a team, or open a community: games of a public community are open to everyone, and a private one takes a join request.
