How do I get access to the Playbox partner API?

Write to @playbox_support and ask for a partner key. We issue keys manually and send yours once.

If you only want to read data from your own games and leagues (results, tables, participants, payments), you do not need a partner key: create a personal organizer API key yourself in Settings → Organizer tools → API keys.

The partner API is for organizers who keep their own registration, in Meetup, WhatsApp or Telegram, and want Playbox underneath as a ratings and leaderboard layer. You create a match, submit the result, and Glicko ratings and leaderboards update by themselves. Your community does not have to move anywhere.

A key has an expiry date. The exact date comes back in the /meta/ response rather than being a fixed number of days, and we extend it on request. Store the key yourself: it is shown once and cannot be looked up later.

Cache the responses on your side and do not rely on cache headers.
