How do I create a promo code for my players?

Open Settings, “Organizer tools”, “Promo codes” (“Discounts for your players”), tap “Create promo code”, fill in the terms and tap “Issue”. The code gives your players a discount on your games: it works only on games where you receive the money, and you fund the discount (the player pays less and you receive less). You cannot use your own code on your own games: it is refused with “Promo codes don’t work on your own games.”

Terms you set:

• “Code”: 4 to 16 Latin letters and digits, or tap “Generate” for a random one.

• “Discount type”: percent (1 to 100) or a fixed amount in your currency.

• “Limit uses” (total) and “Limit per player” (default 1 per player; both can be switched off).

• Start date and an optional end date.

• “Communities”: all of yours or only the ones you pick.

• “Allow paying at the venue” (cash), on by default.

• “Allow stacking with other discounts” (Early Bird), off by default; off means the bigger discount wins.

Issued codes cannot be edited. To change anything, “Turn off” the code (it cannot be turned back on; players who joined keep their price) and issue a new one. Turned-off, expired and used-up codes move to “Archive”.

Open a code to see “Statistics”: Uses, Unique players, Earned, Spent on discounts, a “By game” chart, “Last uses” and “All uses”, and “Share promo code” to send it. The Playbox fee is taken from the price after the promo code.
