How are fantasy points calculated?

Your players earn points for what they do in the real games of the round. Goal +5, assist +3, team win +2, MVP of the event +3, clean sheet +1, own goal -2, yellow card -1, red card -3. A declared goalkeeper or defender gets +4 for a clean sheet instead of +1, because keeping a clean sheet is their job. Your captain doubles everything he earns. Simply being in the lineup earns nothing: attendance is not recorded reliably in every league, so appearance points would be unfair.
